experimental
fragility
A montage of mostly unused footage from my film, Die For You, and Nicólas Soul's QLC music video.
Created for Heather Coker Hawkins' editing class at The University of Tennessee.
Music:
Soul Locked Down by Charlie Kevers
Loops - Walk This Way
A trial for an experimental piece of looping sound and video using various outfits and the intro to Aerosmith's Walk This Way.
Martin Tarantino - The Sounds of Cinema
An audio piece that was originally recorded on cassette tape.
Side A of the tape features some of my favorite dialogue from Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas & The Wolf of Wall Street.
Side B features some of my favorite dialogue from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction & Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood.
The dialogue on both sides is accompanied by several songs from their respective soundtracks.
Phases of Vertigo (3D-RGB)
Shot on DJI Mavic 2 Zoom & edited with Adobe Premiere Pro in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film, Vertigo, and Robert Burks' cinematography.
The music is a phased sample from the intro of The Beautiful & Damned by G-Eazy
Ezekiel 25:17 Moiré Pattern
Inspired by Quentin Tarantino's film, Pulp Fiction.
A still image lined so when a series of lines slides over it, the images beneath is revealed at different points in time. Causing a phase in & out effect.
Developed using Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Pro.
dr unk b rain
A piece of Synchrony & Harmony pairing a green screen silhouette with colorful optical illusions.
The visual piece is complimented sonically by Frank Sinatra's song Drinking again.
I am the silhouetted man, Brody Cantrill was my collaborative partner who handed me the glass, and who's cigarette I lit.
